[ALUG] Kubuntu, Keyboard does not function.

Hi 
	I had problems installing Kubuntu Edgy with the
desktop CD as the PS2 keyboard did not function i.e.
no keys worked. I tried the alternate install and was 
this installed until rebooting, still no keyboard.
	I have found that if I unplug all usb devices
and then reboot, keyboard functions.
	I also had this problem with earlier versions of
Etch. Does anybody know how to cure this, can find 
nothing on Ubuntu Forums, all other Linux Distros I 
have tried function O.K. on same system.
