That sounds a great plan. I will add it to my page plan for the Wiki
(have been thinking about this seriously you see.

This is the great thing about a Wiki, they grow and develop more with
each user that has a idea.

This too sounds like a perfect Wiki application doesn't it. Anyone
willing to lend/donate books can add them to an appropriate section of
the Wiki, maybe with a comment or two as to whether the book is good or
not and its audience. People who borrow the book can add further
comments.

I suggest two 'classes' of books, 'donated' and 'lent'. Donated books
could just stay with a borrower until someone else wanted them, it means
that the hassle of moving them on to the next reader isn't down to the
original donor. Lent books on the other hand would be expected to be
returned to the original owner.
