Do the PCI-e versions of this card require an additional power
connector? the AGP versions do and don't do 3d very well if you don't
plug it in. The other consideration is have you checked the fan is
working? and have you tried underclocking the card to see if that helps
(or checked it isn't overclocked). As you say the problem occurs in > 1
OS then I suspect it is faulty hardware.
