PHPGedView looks a VERY interesting program. Thanks for mentioning it and
showing me an example of it in use. It is much appreciated. I am not
however sure if it is exactly what I am after as, from first glance, the
software seems to create a single Family Tree which multiple people can
access and edit over the internet. This is a wonderful idea allowing
dispersed members of a family to research a single shared Family Tree.
Unfortunately my needs are for Linux software which a single user can use to
create and edit several (say up to 50) completely unrelated and separate
Family Trees and which will also allow the data from the individual Family
Trees to be exported as .ged GEDCOM files.
Thanks once again for your reply and for showing me an example of the
software in use.
sagr.
