I have just had news that RMS is suffering a broken arm in a Finnish hospital. His trip to the UK is in the balance.
In order to keep people up to date about the current status of RMS' trip to the UK and whether the speeches will go ahead/ in what form, I have put up a web page:
According to messages on the Sheflug and linux-users lists, RMS will in fact be travelling to the UK after all (due to speak in Sheffield on Saturday).

Hi
Just got some mail from RMS. He says he will be here in Sheffield as was originally planned for Saturday afternoon.
So, I'll look forward to meeting anyone from the other side of the hill who hopes to come along :)
Thanks
