Hi All Anyone using Scientific Linux? Not that there's anything specially scientific about it in its generic form. It's basically a clone of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and it's called "Scientific" because it was put together by FermiLabs and CERN. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_Linux and https://www.scientificlinux.org/ I'd be interested to hear of experiences with it (especially from anyone who has installed scientific extras).
