Yep - edit /etc/apache/httpd.conf (assuming redhat follow FHS), and add the following:
ServerName your.fully.qualified.domain
Then you should find you can restart apache and be away.
Hi, on Redhat 5.1 it is /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
