I've recently got a laptop off ebay purely for linux. FYI its a Toshiba 3480CT ultraportable. Its been two weeks of late nights trying to get Linux on there (docking station components, usb floppy emulation, second hand parts?). Finally Suse 9.0 pro is installing without too many problems. With any luck I will be on that machine when next writing.
