Welcome Paul,
Are you are lurker on several Linux mail groups or does ALUG have some particular fascination? Is there a LUG down your way?
Thanks, I'm actually on the HantsLUG list for my local area, and have been for some time. A little while ago I decided to see what was going on around the country so subscribed to a few other lists from the lurg.org.uk site. I do rather like East Anglia though, I've holidayed there on and off for years - mainly on the Broads being into sailing.
I've added a few more recently, and probably ought to add the rest (if my modem can take the pressure) - for my sins I managed to 'volunteer' last weekend to be the LUG/Community liaison for the Smoothwall project - Mark/MJR go easy on me I've read the LinuxUK site ;-)
By the way if anyone wants to contact me regarding Smoothwall please use community@smoothwall.org as I have just set it up for that purpose. I ought to confess to not having much hands on experience yet though :-( I look after the server that hosts the domain, but unfortunately my old 486 box is not Y2K compliant, and is also buried due to a loft conversion, so although it is installed, I haven't played with it yet :-( I need to get the web site updated with this contact yet though.
