I can see your messages, I'm just guessing that there aren't many people who have answers for your questions :) Didn't we do some discussion on multifunction printers a few weeks back? or was that on another list?

I think we did. I have no experience of Brother products. I have an HP PSc1205 for colur printing and scanning and a 50quid Samsumg ML1510 laser printer both of which work fine with Linux.
