Well, here I am de-lurking at last!
Have got a really infuriating problem with no clues on how to solve it. Have got two Redhat machines, one is 6.2, the other is 7.0. They are on the same network with a 100 meg hub between them. They both have 100meg network cards. I'm trying to ftp a 70meg file from the 6.2 box to the 7.0 box. I would expect the the transfer to take a matter of seconds but it takes an eternity and seems to get slower and slower as it progresses we're talking transfer rates of < 1K here. I'm totally stumped as to what is causing this and need some kind of tool to analyse the problem and work out what is going wrong here.
Any ideas about this please?
Cheers.
