No. I have filters for some other addresses and they get put into trash (and show up) with no problem. I don't have any filters for the addresses I'm bothered about here. I want to read them!
None of my incoming messages are ever filtered into "Junk" or "Spam" unless I have set them up to do so via explicit filters. these aren't by address. I still suspect that your problem is either in filters, or in TB's Preference|Security|Junk setting, where it is possible to mark them as read.
If not, I have no further idea!

Only a few of mine are (random FedEx and Hulu messages, for example) and as I say, the addresses in this case are not filtered. I've stuck them all in my address book now to see if that helps.
