I infer from it that somehow it's possible for the ordinary man in the street to influence the provision of ADSL in a particular area; if that's true, I'd like to know how. I've more or less given up on the idea of ever seeing ADSL available in a one-eyed comatose place like this (Martlesham Heath)...
One way is to openly canvas for interest in a broadband sattelite link, and if BT believes it might lose a lot of customers thereby, may just be crowbarred into providing the ADSL service. I'm seriously thinking of doing just that. -- Tony http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/hi-fi/
