Chris

With the name being "oldchris" it might not register its name with the DNS server, once it gets it IP via DHCP. And so the server does the nslookup ?

Just a thought.

Apologies for the repetition of this email, but I've had only two
responses to this so far, and only one of those is able to attend,
which at the moment is making a gathering of three.

There were quite a few ppl at the last meet who sounded like they were
up for this again, so can I ask if anyone just hasn't responded yet,
can you do so soon?

If I get some more interest, I'll book somewhere, otherwise we'll make
it a normal meet and maybe try an ad-hoc meal out somewhere, depending
on the feeling on the night.

Thanks,

Peter.

No worries, Tony.

I wasn't intending to guilt anyway, just catch up any stragglers.  Our
numbers tend to fluctuate so sometimes we have large meets, other
times very small.

If December is just on the small side, we'll play it by ear.  I've had
at least one more possible respondee tho, so the numbers are creeping
up.  :)

Peter.
