My present web hosting is becoming a bit iffy, the web hosting isn't very important but Maxine relies on the mail for her business so I'm looking for alternatives.
I am very pleased with 34sp <www.34sp.com>, even if they are in That Madchester. They are not the cheapest but they are very reliable, accessable and prompt to do stuff. I also really like their policy of letting you do stuff, warning you and then billing you for it rather than not letting you do stuff. The mail hosting is not unlimited but it is scalable. Oh, and in addition to POP and IMAP I have an SMTP server for an extra £15 per year: http://www.34sp.com/hostingfeatures.php.
Highly recommended.
Thanks, just the sort of recommandation I'm after, I'll take a look.
