Hi,
I do not see my brother much. As he has recently brought himself his first computer I am getting him a webcam for Christmas. I would therefore like to get my PC set up and ready for the expected excited phone call and our proposed live video linkup on Christmas Day - sorry guys but this project's deadline is not negotiable ;-)
My brother (who is very new to computers) will be using the webcam bundled "Microsoft NetMeeting" on his Windows only PC at his end. Will I have to also boot into Windows and use NetMeeting my end or is there a Linux equivalent (I run Debian 3.0) I can use?
I also have a more computer literate friend who lives some distance away from me who runs Linux like myself. Is there a NetMeeting type program (even if it is not compatible with NetMeeting itself) which two remote Linux users can use to videoconference over the net?
TIA,
Ian.
