I have a WinTV-HVR900 personally (but I have never managed to get this to work on Linux, even though it is supposed to be possible)
Many thanks for replies: I have a very old Win TV card, which worked until I installed Suse 10.1, but since it no longer works in Ubuntu either I assume it is dead. Since I intend to dual boot Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop / Ubuntu, I will give the Freecom a try. Kind Regards - Nick Daniels
