[Alug] Courses?

Is there a one day course available on Linux/Unix for beginners, anywhere in an arc drawn using Halesworth as a centre and taking in Norwich and Ipswich? I have specified a one day course as I find that following a whole day awake I have to spend the next in bed, (or at least asleep for most of the day). I am finding that due to my intake of painkillers I seem to lack the self-discipline to learn on my own. I have a tendency to go on to the Internet for information, follow the links, wander of down some obscure by-way, and when BT cuts me off after 2 hours, find I spent the entire time reading stuff which may or may not be useful, but which did catch my interest. Such are the benefits of very early retirement. John Seago
