I'm looking for an alternative text browser to use instead of lynx. The one major facility I want is to be able to interpret javascript.
I've tried links (the Twibright labs links(2)) and although it looks good and builds very easily I can't get it to run javascript either. When I get to a javascript link it just says "javascript::" and won't actually do anything.
Are there any other possibilities?
I've had links2 running with Javascript support, though it was somewhat limited. Very evil on the framebuffer with graphics support as well though. :)
Seems to be version 2.1pre15, which is what's on Twibright's site.
Yes, that's the version I've just built and installed.
When it gets to a javascript link it just displays the javascript and does nothing. E.g. I see "javascript:newpage('increment', 1)" but it does me no good at all, I can't get to that next page.
