> Anyone else in the group got an eeePC?
Hi, Yes I've been using mine with Ubuntu Hardy for a couple of weeks now - see http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewforum.php?id=43 and it's working really well. Spinning cubes and wobbly windows too with Compiz Fusion, which work surprisingly well.

But you should also run the Ricey script at ...

Also, Hi to the group. I've been lurking for a month or so and had nothing useful to add so far. (and little time)
My next "project" will be to get my Orange mobile broadband USB thingy working with the Eee... which will arrive from Orange this week. After that I want to get it working with my Bluetooth GPS module and see what it's like as a Sat Nav. (pretty poor I guess by looking at the free maps available, but could be a fun project).
A great little hobby machine, reminds me of my Amiga 15 years ago (or so).
Steve Button.
