Has anyone heard from/seen Ruth Bygrave recently... I was recently hitting the archives and noted that we don't appear to have seen anything on list from her since Feb 2009. She was never a very active poster, but we did usually see a message from here at least once every 4 months, just want to check that she's doing alright.
Can't say I have.
It would be nice to check she's OK.

A google on
"ruth bygrave" ipswich
brings up evidence that's she's out and about and active as of Oct 2010.
I've kept all ALUG postings, and her last appearance was 18 Feb 2009 (2nd of 2 postings that year). She apparently came on board on 19 June 2007. In her heyday on ALUG (2007-2008) her postings were a delight to read!
It may be that she has managed to resolve her ambivalent relationships with Mac OS X and Linux!
You just reminded me that Ruth was an NMUG member too, so I checked out the NMUG archives - looks like she has been more active there of late: http://server.durrant.co.uk/pipermail/nmug/2010-October/thread.html -- David Reynolds david@reynoldsfamily.org.uk
Good lead! A quick retrospective check shows that she posted to NMUG in Oct, Sept, Aug, July and May 2010. So it does look as though she may have settled on the Mac.
Ted.
