My sister-in-law is using Mandrake 9.0 and has just bought an Epson Stylus C44 which I have duly installed using the Mandrake Control Centre (or whatever they call it). It detected it correctly and it shows up in the KDE Control Centre correctly.
It will not, however, print. No error messages in the CUPS logs and in the CUPS Management thingy the job just sits there in the queue although it lists the Epson C44 as idle and waiting for jobs.
I even tried cat file.txt > /dev/usb/lp0 which also produced nothing.
Any ideas, anyone, please!
