The Foriegn Secretary Jack Straw suggested for services to UK business, i.e. for employing 2000 staff. IBM employ 3,500 at their HQ Portsmouth alone, while the Greenock IBM facility started the Silicon glen trend and has it's own railway station, it's that big. ARM and co have done far more than Microsoft.
