I am trying to compile GCC 3.0 and I get the following error, all I can find on a google search are a load of me to's but no solution
Heres the tail of the output
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/zlib' Bootstrapping the compiler make[1]: Entering directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/gcc' make CC="gcc" libdir=/usr/bin/lib LANGUAGES="c " \ CFLAGS="-g " MAKEINFO="makeinfo " \ MAKEINFOFLAGS="" make[2]: Entering directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/gcc' (cd intl && make all) make[3]: Entering directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/gcc/intl' make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all'. make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/gcc/intl' (cd po && make all) make[3]: Entering directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/gcc/po' make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all'. make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/gcc/po' ./genattrtab ../../gcc-3.0/gcc/config/i386/i386.md > tmp-attrtab.c make[2]: *** [s-attrtab] Error 137 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/gcc' make[1]: *** [stage1_build] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/freemadi/downloads/gcc/objdir/gcc' make: *** [bootstrap-lean] Error 2
Any suggestions on what an error 137 is?
Thanks
