You won't be able to register - it's now a non-supported product superceeded by Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
You've now got the option of either purchasing Enterprise Linux 3 WS (workstation) from them for the sum of £117 (which includes a year subscription to the Red Hat Network), going to Progeny (http://www.progeny.com/) for their transition service (provides security updates to previous releases of Red Hat), or alternatively trying Fedora (http://fedora.redhat.com).
Thanks Martyn, does this mean that the problem I have with the apm command locking my computer cannot be resolved without the updates? If I decide to try fedora does this overwrite redhat9? Bearing in mind that I have a stand alone computer, (Dual boot with Windows XP) that is only for personal use and wish only to become familiar with a Linux OS. Bob Jarvis
