Well, when i grabbed the source distro last night, the combination of Helix's ftp and BT Internet had the download going at 100b/s - as I started the download at around 11pm, needless to say, I haven't yet played with Helix. The website is slow, but that could just be /. 's magic influence.
I still wanna know when they're gonna put debs out, as rpm's are about as useful as a boat on the moon. Update this evening, but only if i get in time for Dawson's Creek. else, i'll be sulking. Thom

OK so we were bombarded with news releases from HelixCode announcing their distribution of GNOME yesterday. It looks real nice, I just wondered if anyone had any experiences good or bad with it (the Helix download processes and the environment itself)?
Also, anyone know if an gnome app written under this release/1.4 release will still work under October GNOME?
James.
