If you want to avoid the browser wrapping text in html the easiest way if to use the <pre> ...</pre> tags which displays any text in between "as is" - is short fro preformatted. If you are 'parsing' in log files to an html file then
write "<pre>" to the output file and then copy the (I presume txt file) straight in (you might want to check for the </pre> tag and htmlise that just in case) and then slap the "</pre>" tag after it. Tom
