I use Mozilla 1.0 on Debian Woody. I have installed RealPlayer8, and can run realplay fine. However, when I visit a website (such as the Radio 1 site, which is WHY I installed it, having used Windows for a project, I got rather addicted to John Peel's show again ;) ), realplay uses up to 98% of the CPU, meaning I have to kill the process.
Typing about:plugins in the address bar gives:
<snip> File name: /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/rpnp.so Mime Type Description Suffixes Enabled audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin RealPlayer Plugin Metafile rpm Yes <snip>
So it seems to be installed OK. Anyone else found this? Anyone had any luck with RealOne (the newer one?) I can't seem to find ANY plugin bundled with it.
It's quite irritating. Specially cos my housemate oversaw both install processes... "so it took u about 3 minutes in Windows, and a whole night and it still doesn't work in Linux..." (Nelson from the Simpsons laugh) "...HAAA HAAA!" grrrr. lol
