I look forward to seeing you.
Thanks, looking forward to it, especially as I am now using linux daily (Mandrake 9.0 on my laptop for almost all email and web browsing). Plus I have a 486 as a router/dial-up server using Freesco.
Do we have a venue for the non-UEA meetings?
No, not yet. Do you know of anywhere? Maybe one would be a good date to meet NPCUG? ;-) If all else fails, the Fat Cat is a good venue if the weather is good.
One of the stalls (if that is the right word - shed seems more accurate :) in Norwich market is internet access on an adsl connection. Possibly not suitable - possibly too expensive to hire. But should I enquire next time I am in Norwich? Don't suppose they would allow connections to their network though.
More realistically, the village hall in Newton Flotman where I live is often unbooked on sundays and is very cheap to hire. Tea making facilities but no internet access. On the A140 about six miles south of Norwich, three miles off the A47. May not be close enough to the city?
Re NPCUG, I am hoping to go to their next meeting (first wednesday in the month) and may join. Do we have any members in alug alraedy?
