I just checked out this group on their server nntp//:futurenet.com.pcanswers.cdandsoftware and there are a lot of angry people out there. Looks like they are going to try and post some sort of fix but me thinks they are going to be replacing a lot of duff CDs, that'll cost em! The words cockup and complete spring immediately to mind for some reason. :-)
Anybody out there in mega fast connection land fancy grabbing an iso image and burning a disk for me?

I picked up a copy of PC Answers myself today, purely for the copy of Mandrake (didn't fancy downloading it at 128kbit).
In short, they seem to have messed up the install/packages in some way.. haven't looked properly yet, but the end result doesn't work. According to some newsgroup postings, it isn't just the login that's messed up; X has problems as well, so it's probably not worth persevering.
Bit of a waste of a fiver really.
