I know I have asked this before, but I had to re-install Linux (SuSE 9.2) onto a new (old) computer. I'm now using a P3 500MHz machine with a 10GB hard drive, DVD-RW and just 160 MB RAM (for now, anyone got any PC 100 they want to get rid of cheap?).
Got a couple of 64meg sticks...
Anyway, I have got all the email connection sorted ok, I just want to get KMail to check for new messages every couple of mins or so. How do I do it? Like I said, I asked before but can't remember what was said. This time I'll print out the reply and keep it in my folder.
Settings->Configure kmail - Network - Click on the Receiving tab, highlight the Name. Click on the Modify button, and tick the "Enable interval mail checking" box. Just below is a widget for setting the interval.

Hi Paul, many thanks for the solution. As soon as I looked at it I remembered doing just that before!! Oh well, I had better print this one out now.
Thanks for the over of the 64 meg sticks, I really need at least one 128 or 256. I have a 128 and a 32 in at the moment, and this machine only has two slots. Any others out there with PC 100 RAM they want to part with?
Regards all
Peter
