Hi folks - Ted Harding persuaded me to join the list, I should have done so ages ago.
For those who don't know me, for the last ten years I have run GBdirect in Leeds, a mostly open-source oriented consultancy.
I'm a committee member of UKUUG and The Open Source Consortium (OSC) as well as being CTO of OpenForumEurope and involved with the universities OSS Watch group.
A relatively new venture is this Cutter Project thing about using thin-client Linux in schools.
Nowadays I live in Ely.
Apart from Open Source stuff the main interest is drinking - so who's coming to the Ely CAMRA Beer festival next Saturday? See you there? How about a PGP key-signing session while we can still stand?
