Could it not just append MIME text/plain to the end of the message?
It wasn't marked as text/plain anyway. Maybe the move to mailman2 on lists.alug.org.uk (may happen tonight) might fix this. Anyone care to test by sending an attachment to social@lists.alug.org.uk (just one now)? MJR
