Ive got a Creative Webcam Pro Its based on the ov511 chip, which is supported from about 2.4.20 onwards. It shows up as a video for linux device. The pro version is 640x480, but i have a feeling the non-pro version uses a different chip.
Anyway, I recommend it, although I havent found much of a use for it on the end of my modem...
