[ALUG] How to deal with a dependency on an older library?

      I have /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 installed on my system.

Firefox (in the 2.0.0.7 version downloaded from mozilla.com) needs
/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 to work.

Is there any reasonably simple workaround for this problem? I know one
*could* build from source but that sounds like rather hard work for
Firefox.
