Thanks for all replies, I have now found someone fairly close by. Anthony, thanks for your kind offer, but I was looking for someone a little closer. -- David Reynolds david@reynoldsfamily.org.uk On 22 May 2012, at 09:19, Anthony Anson <tony.anson@girolle.co.uk> wrote:

Hi guys,
Does anyone in the Norwich-ish area happen to have (or have access to) a drill press I could use?
I am building a guitar from a kit and I need to drill 4 holes with said drill press.
Can anyone help?
I have access to one at work but it is at our workshop in Mildenhall so a bit of a trek for you. Or if you fancy a day trip to Lavenham then Mike Wells at AJ Laminated Beams in Cockfield would help you for beer tokens. Otherwise what Adam said, it doesn't even need to be a Joiners, any machine shop should have one but depending on what they do they may or may not be ok with sawdust floating about.
I sent my reply to sender (deliberately), but OP is either deliberating or hasn't seen it yet.
I have a suitable brnch drill/drillpress here in Bunwell - it only (only? [Ed] ) requires me to clear a space round it...
Just to save folk from offering facilities at the ends of the universe.
