Aren't we meant to have regulators to guard against this sort of thing? It's all well and good to say "don't pay for it if it's too expensive", but there is no alternative to BT's monopoly, until wireless becomes viable for general use (and the antennae can be sited on the rooftops instead of by people).
Mark, which country do you live in? We didn't elect a new governement last weeek, the cooperations did, so what if BT is a monopoly, so what if microsoft is a monopoly, they are spending lots of money and I can't afford to piss them off. No matter what under the current system we are screwed. Sorry Thanks D
