Any ideas on which scanners work in Linux or which to avoid and is there a Linux equivalent to TWAIN?
Have a look at SANE, Scanner Access Now Easy <g>. http://www.mostang.com/sane/
I'm only looking for a low end A4 device for general photos and OCR stuff, not too expensive around 150.00 is my limit.
