Ian Douglas now has all the Sun kit. I made him promise before I left that if he found he had no use/too much then would he pass it on.
I hope you're doing ok with it Ian, I'm just glad I eventually remembered the root password!

Due to a clear out I now find I've got nowhere to store my Sun kit so would like to donate it to a loving home. I have had a flavour of Linux (Debian?) running on it but most of the time it's been running good
old Solaris.
Details of what I have are:
Sparc 5 Base Station Scsi Cdrom Floppy 128MB RAM 2 Internal SCA Scsi drives
Sparc 5 Base Station Scsi Cdrom Floppy (I think) 64MB RAM (I think) 1 Internal SCA Scsi drive
I'd love some better Sun kit; if either of these are still available I'll gladly take one. Obviously the one with more RAM would be more appealing if it's still free.

Yes, thanks once again for popping round with the workstation Karl.. I spent yesterday evening foraging around in the loft hunting out my old floppies and collection of DAT tapes from my old workstation and it is already bringing back memories of my mad misspent youth as I look at the dumps of my old home directories and realise, with sadness, how much I have forgotten....
Loads of fun ahead!
Ian.
