Hello, Does anybody know how to get one's email from a MS Exchange Server in Linux? What I want to know is, if it is possible to query Exchange Server like POP3 or IMAP servers. Email is the only thing that I have to boot into windows for and use outlook. Govind Chandra

if you have IMAP or POP3 available on teh exchange server (which most do), then you can configure netscape/pine/mozilla to read your mail from the server.. check with the documentation of your mail software to see how this is done.. Regards Neill

Or, if you want to get all your mail onto one Linux box use fetchmail. FWIW. You're at the JIC? I'm just over the road at the IFR. I think the setup is quite similar; my experience is that POP/IMAP/anything-useful is disabled by default as being a security risk. I just set it up to have all mail forwarded to somewhere with a more sane server!
