I've put in three of the sliver 4 port router+modem boxes. They've been perfect, run cool, work fine for a year or two, easy to manage, very simple interface. On another account I put in a half price lookalike from ebuyer to save a few pennies. It works fine but I had to set up DNS manually on each computer, and never could figure out why. I'd be very confident about netgear again. Peter
