Where and when is this, I ask as I have a library book I wish to return, (without having to drive al the way to Cambridge to give it back to Adam, although I may be going that way soon).

Next weekend meeting is British Legion Hall, Aylsham road Norwich on the 20th of this month. I am going to be there, with the library. Next meeting after that is Syleham and Wingfield on the Sun Aug 17th and also Sun 23rd Nov for Syleham.
This means for September and October have no venue, UEA would be nice, possibly somewhere Cambridgshire way also etc. if you know of a suitable venue and would like to host a meeting let us know, or if you have hosted meetings before we will gladly come back ;). Of course all the uni students are off on holiday so getting uni type places booked could be tricky.
One thing we did play with the idea of is a showing of the Revolution OS DVD, for this we need a venue with a projector that will take some kind on input from something that can play DVDs and sound that everyone will be able to hear. Of alternatly we need someone to bring a projector of some kind that can do all the above.
If you can help out with venues or anything as ever let us know!
Oh if you want to know what Revolution OS is http://www.revolution-os.com/
PS I am not sure about Norwich evening meetings schedule/plans, I don't have anything to do with planning them so can't help.
Elmswell has a projector and DVD player should you wish to show the Revolution OS.
Regards, Rob.

Thanks Robert, much appreciated.
That sounds like an offer for hosting either Augusts meeting (current status unknown John to fill in details here) or perhaps one for September?
Let us know what you can do.
Thanks Adam
I'd love to see Revolution OS, definitely looking forward to that meeting :) /Kirsten

It does sound like an ideal venue. How many can it hold for a screening? Hope we can get a good date and publicise this. Once we have a date, someone needs to let the film's copyright owners know so they can list it and we get permission to exhibit.

I should scroll down and read all the posts before replying. :-) Ignore my post about showing the film at Syleham.
Looks like the August meet on 17th August is off. Although I'd provisionally booked the hall for the meeting ages ago I have agreed to a request from a good friend in the village who needs it for a christening. I was sure the ALUG populous wouldn't object too much.
So over to you Rob if you can pick up the August meeting for a showing of Revolution OS I can provide the film on DVD.
Cheers, BJ
