files generated from within some Windows software app (?Word), and I wouldn't trust that ... even less than I'd trust Word's HTML.
What would be the best way to get it to me? I don't mind receiving mail with big attachments; or if you can put it in an accessible ftp site ...?
NOTE to people knocking PDF: When it's good PDF it's a great "lingua franca" for document exchange (though uneditable without Adobe Acrobat [unless someone knows better]; you can try a text editor on simple PDF files if you know what you're doing, but it's _very_ dodgy, much worse than editing raw PostScript).
You would understand what I mean if you've ever sent a Windows user a PostScript file. Almost all will end up opening it in Word (usually in "fast save" mode) which will corrupt the file for ever; or printing it out as a text file (so you get the PS code instead of the rendering). On the other hand, for anyone who has installed Acrobat Reader (as many have), Windows will automatically do the right thing.
