Could anyone interested in organising an event for Software Freedom Day on Saturday 10 September 2005 please email me? If >5 are interested, I'll set up a mailing list and we can start to organise things like who does what where and when. I hope that we can accommodate all participants' ambitions for it, but if we split for some reason, so be it.

I'd be happy to join in and lend a hand with any plans people have. However, I am based in Kings Lynn and won't be able to travel. I can provide a couple of revived old PCs running <insert your distro here> as experience dictates (500mhz/128mb/10gb and thereabouts), and maybe even an old laptop or two (in the 200mhz pentium range), plus I am more than happy to help out with installations, CD burning (I don't have any media though) and even some tech support where I can help.
What sort of things are people thinking of?
Jim Rippon
I can make myself available for that day - please add my name to the list. I'm based in Wymondham, so something local to me would be helpful.
Stuart.
