(Sorry this isn't in the main thread)
1. This could be a perfect venue for some sunday afternoon meetings if that was OK with Lewis. Bandwidth, easy to get to, plenty of parking etc.
2. Is it time to think again about how often to have sunday meetings in Norwich? A year ago it was agreed to have them every three months so that meetings in other parts of the region wouldn't be stifled but apart from BJ at Syleham there haven't been many, if any, other w/e meetings. If we *could* use the Norwich Internet Cafe in the market on a sunday afternoon then how about every other month?

Sounds like a good idea. I wonder what the regs are about Sunday trading, and whether this would constitute trading? If not, what's in it for Lewis? (Apart from giving up almost every other Sunday....)
Yes, if there is sufficient interest Norwich Internet Cafe would be pleased to host ALUG meetings (with free 2mbps internet) on Sundays every other month i.e. (6 times a year). Let me know if you are interested via this list.
I was pleased to meet Anthony Anson who popped in to see us this morning and he likes the idea of Sunday meetings if he can get transport in to Norwich (problem with no buses on Sundays).
Adnams bitter is my favourite beer and I can assure readers that I do try other beers too. Regards Lewis

Ah! I don't know *WHAT* Adnams are thinking about, but I just had a fine pint of Old in the, erm, well, a pub quite near the market down one of the lanes.
Coming back from N&N I found that the X-ray had given me a thirst, so I broke my journey at the Fat Cat and had some Red Macgregor, Black Cat mild and another stong mild - brewers begin with a 'P' (and ended with one, when I got home) but thash about about as mush ash I can remem^H^H^H^what was I saying?

Although I appreciate good beer as much as the next man this is drifting off topic so please move to the social list.
Cheers, BJ
