Confirmation that the next ALUG will be @ Syleham Village Hall on Sun 27th Aug between 2:00 and 6:30.
Can somebody update the web site? I will post announce messeges to the relavent newsgroups.
The hall will cost us £7.50 - we can have a whip round. I forgot about it last time!

Where is Syleham (OS grid ref or summat please)? Neither multimap.co.uk nor streetmap.co.uk have heard of it.

FYI, lads, true to form, I'm going to miss this one. Cracking excuse though.
This coming January, myself and a mate are entered in the 12th Monte Carlo challenge, a recreation of the old Monte for classic cars. Ours is a 1971 Wolseley 18/85 MKIIS whose body we have just finshed restoring. On Sunday, I'm trailering it down to Chigwell so my uncle can spray it for us. Should be on the road for late Sept (engine still in bits being "tuned" :^)). We're in a novices rally in Wales in November which is a training run, neither of us having ever done this before. The Monte is fully covered on Sky, but I don't know which channel.

Cool! Good luck in that, and in the novices rally in November. You'll have to bring the Wolseley to the next ALUG you can make, so we can all drool over some real hardware instead of silicon for a change!
