Bugger, another message that's gotten stuck in the system somewhere for ages. Has anyone encountered something like this before? It only seems to happen when posting to alug.
Pine is set up to send mail direct to freeserves smtp server, so my only gueses are it's a problem with pine which coincidently has only affected alug mail, a prob with freeserve or alug's mailserver. Anyone have any ideas please?

If you read back up the chain it appears that freeserve didn't get the mail from you until today, it was also handled locally on one of your machines by an exim process so it does not appear that you are sending via smtp directly to the freeserve servers. It could have been a deferred delivery in Exim due to a temporary problem such as not being able to contact the smarthost...
