Hi List, Are there any CUPS experts out there? I tried to set up cups printing system last night, but when I try and print a test page from the webadmin page on the localhost it prints the first top half-inch of "This is a test page" in inch-high letters then grinds to a halt and just sits there. You're one up on me then - I tried setting up cups for my networked HL1660 and can't even get a test page out... The printer uses a NetJet card that requires a "raw" spooler. Maybe I'll try it on the parallel port some time. In the meantime, I will follow this thread with interest.

Not a CUPS expert by any means, but this sounds like a flaky/incorrect printer driver to me.
What printer and CUPS driver are you using ?
