Have tried to get 3D games running in Suse 9.1 without success. Set 3D to Enabled but still no good. Have an ATI Radeon 8500SE Card and LCD Digital Monitor. Any help, hints or tips to get it working appreciated. Regards Stan

Not that this will help you, but I bought a Radeon 9600XT card last week and installed it in my SuSE 9.2 machine with no problems. I have dual 17" LCDs plugged into it. It uses "one big frame buffer" rather than the Xinerama extensions. A 2560x1024 desktop is great to use!

Ohhh I am thinking about going that way myself, I already have one lcd and am thinking about buying a second (while the same model is still available)
About the only thing stopping me at the moment is a underlying need to go and buy a mac mini and I can't afford to do both.
