Does anyone here use any GUI tools for updating a Wordpress blog?
Cross-platform ideally, as I want to get others using the same tools who haven't yet discovered the joys of a Windows-free desktop.

The text file for RFC 854 contains exactly 854 lines. Do you think there is any cosmic significance in this?

I assume you mean WP's web interface? That's what I do right now, but I find the interface cumbersome for simple blog additions (maybe that's just me!).
If you mean something else in FF let me know, though!

Yes - I mean the WP web interface. It works for me.

Drivel, but it's GNOME only.

Linux Format (Issue 125 Dec 2009, pg 70) reviews Bilbo which they seem to like. http://bilbo.gnufolks.org. Seems to be a KDE app, so not cross platform.
Incidentally, I just looked up cygwin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cygwin) and it said that KDE 4 has been ported to work under windows, so perhaps if you find a KDE app you like, you can install it and KDE and use that for the win-dozers? Don't know how feasable that is though. Alternatively, if you have a linux machine on hand, perhaps you could give the win-dozers an account on it, and get them to remote desktop onto it to run any blogging software you end up choosing - just throwing suggestions at you - not sure how practical they are!

Hi Mark,
Try firefox with the scribefire add-on.

Ah, perfect! Well, it's early days, but it looks like it'll do everything I want - it was by far the easiest to configure that I've tried so far (I gave it my blog URL, it worked out that it was wordpress and set itself up accordingly), and it's cross platform, and it seems to just "work". I like it!
